About Lauren

Originally from Victoria, BC, I hold an undergraduate degree in Social Work and Indigenous Studies, as well as a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology. My diverse experience supporting youth, individuals navigating substance use concerns, and neurodivergent individuals has strengthened my commitment to creating a compassionate and welcoming space where clients feel heard, valued, and supported.

I am currently accepting new clients and look forward to meeting you.

Lauren's approach

I believe that all therapeutic work is relational. I see connection, compassion, and relational care as foundational to meaningful therapeutic work. My approach is rooted in person-centred and strengths-based principles, with an emphasis on genuineness and compassion. I draw from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment-based approaches, and self-compassion practices.

I recognize that counselling is not one-size-fits-all. I value each client's experiences and goals, recognizing that each person's needs are unique and adapting my approach to best support the individual.
