About Kelly

Originally from Victoria, BC, I returned to the Island with my family after many years in Calgary and twelve years as a missionary counsellor in Rwanda, where I established a counselling and training centre in Kigali.

With over 25 years of clinical experience across counselling, training and supervision roles, I am dedicated to being an empathetic and engaged listener. I am honoured to walk alongside you as you navigate the concerns that bring you to counselling, helping you uncover the resources and strengths that can support you along the way.

My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you can be authentically yourself.

Kelly's approach

I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is essential to the process of emotional and psychological healing. I also believe that my clients are the experts in their own lives and should be in the driver's seat when it comes to therapy.

Counselling is a journey rather than a destination, and each person requires an individualized approach. I work from an integrated perspective, drawing on person-centred, attachment-based and emotion-focused approaches to inform my work.
